Multi-function kitchen island with granite countertop

White polyester melamine was selected for the cabinets in this open concept, shaker-style kitchen. Black granite countertops lend a touch of fashionable chic to the modern design. The centre island has every convenience you can think of:  a built-in dishwasher, double flush-mount sinks, a bookcase for recipe books and an eating counter that is recessed to accommodate seating. While the overall effect of this white, black and grey kitchen is sober elegance, splashes of red have been added here and there for a dash of colour!
