Thermoplastic cabinets in two shades of grey
The main wall of this contemporary kitchen is decked out with floor-to-ceiling thermoplastic cabinets in a pale dull shade of grey. As well as housing the microwave oven and hiding the refrigerator, this huge structure provides ample space for storage. Other thermoplastic units of the same colour occupy the upper area and take full advantage of all available space.
The owners have shown originality in their selection of navy-blue thermoplastic for the central island and some of the lower modules – a bold choice that creates a glossy effect and imbues the room with a unique character. Shaker style was our choice for the blue furniture in this kitchen.
Quartz countertops
The countertops used on the island, coffee nook and areas adjacent to the range are all made of 1¼-inch-thick Silestone quartz.
