Urban style cabinet in wood

Urban style design is commonly associated with modern materials such as thermoplastic, glass, aluminum, etc. However, who’s to say wood can’t also have its place in an urban style bathroom!

Wood and laminate

This bathroom features a vanity and a matching built-in cabinet in wood veneer. And, to carry this harmony throughout the room, the bathtub sides have also been fitted with panels in the same material. Tone-on-tone laminate is the surface of choice for the vanity countertop.

Floating vanity

To accentuate the modern look of this bathroom, we opted for a vanity that, at first glance, appears to be floating.  In fact, the cabinet is discreetly supported by a ceramic-covered plywood base. The result … a vanity that seems to be suspended in space, creating an original, airy look. And, to add extra brightness to the room, frosted glass inserts have been added to the wall cabinet.
